Okay so upon entering the game I get an error message saying (Your video card doesn't support vertex shader. How could I fix this so I could get the game to work?

Can you give us some more information about your video card, please?

Ok I see, it's an Intel's graphic chipset integrated on your motherboard and it doesn't fully support pixel and vertex shader. I hardly believe you'll ever manage to play any recent game decently on such a system.

The best solution is to buy a dedicated graphic card and disable the onboard controller.

Nope, best solution unfortunately is to change PC. These specs are from a very old PC, and every purchased video card will be bottlenecked as hell by other components. That PC is from 2003-2005 I guess, and I can assure you that even with a compatible video card, more ram and same PC (it's my old laptop), Victory won't run. That PC is not suited for gaming, sorry.

Aww,well that Really Sucks because I LOVE racing games.Umm so will anything happen to my account if I were to change PC's?

Absolutely not :)

No, the account and the progress are stored online, so you can play from any pc and still you have your cars, level etc! It sucks that you have to change PC, but trust me because I have a similar one at home (just a little more powerful) and it can run absolutely zero games..

I was just curious.  I'm running Intel Core i3-2120 @ 3.0GH 3.3 GH, 4 Gig RAM, 64 Bit OSI,...however, I have no aftermarket graph card.  Graphics running on Intel HD Graphics Family 2000 chip. 1696 total avail graph but only 64 dedicated to memory.  I was wondering, before I download and just try, if I could possibly run Victory: The Age of Racing at a decent framerate with looooow graphics or is it just not a possiblility. I'm on Speed Dreams now but there's doesn't seem to be online racing at this time.  I can deal with lower graphics as long as the frame rate is solid.  Thanks in advance for your

Hi mate, your card is quite weak. At the moment I guess it would be painful (I have an i5-450M, 4GB Ram and Radeon HD5650M 1GB dedicated but still frame rate is not solid), but with the next big patch, which is coming soon, a lot of graphic optimizations will be implemented. So my best guess is to dowload it now if you don't have bandwidth problems, give it a try with minimum details and in the case that it's unplayable wait until the next update (so you won't have to download again the whole game). The size is half a GB, so it's not heavy as a game!

Thanks M3Honsho!  I installed updates to the chip but I don't think it wil cut it.  Even if it does, may strain my system.  I would like to get a lower end graph card for running some pretty basic games that require 256-512 dedicated memory.  Nothing too fancy.  I can enjoy peeked graphics on my 360.  I just want to enjoy some racing sims on PC.  Question; If I added a graph card of this caliber, would I need to add anything else, i.e. fan, power source, etc.? I have a decent source and 2011 HP towerless monitor.  Thanks in advance.

Well, at the moment I'm not really updated on desktop graphic cards.. still, if you buy something not too powerful (100-150€ price) I think that you won't need any major update to your system, like you said power source, processor or else. Of course, you won't be able to play on Full HD, but still I think that you will be able to run every game, even at good quality, if you don't push the resolution too much!

Hi,

Use this list, http://www.overclock.net/t/502403/graphics-card-ranking-5th-time-and-las... then google shop the prices and reviews....I have a gts450 still runs things great and a cheap card.

That Radeon Ares II 6GB liquid cooled interest me a lot and I have enough space in my computer case.

Well, I went ahead and downloaded the game hoping the Intell Family Chipset would be able to borrow from 2+ remaining gigs of memory to assist the dedicated 64MB to an acceptable degree.  Turned everything down to lowest settings, opened up the "EKG" to keep a tab on system performance (disabled some unecessary runnning apps) and ran it.  Ran great!  Steady framerate clock of around 59-61 per seconds.  System physical memory stayed around 72-74%.Vent didn't get TOO warm.  All was fine.  Enjoyed the heck out of a 1.5-2hr session.  Looked great.  Late night early morn crowd was jerk free.  Thanks for all the help.

Gald to see your getting results, please make sure you keep a watch on those case temps:D  cya on track!
